Slow Cooked Mushroom Gravy Roast
Adapted from PaleOMGPrep Time: Approximately 5 minutes
Cook Time: 4-6 hours on high or 6-8 on low (recommend)
Serves: 4-6
Ingredients:
- 1-2 lbs beef rump roast
- 3-4 cups organic chicken or beef broth
- 1/2 cup full fat coconut milk, canned
- 1-2 onions, chopped
- 5-6 cloves of garlic, peeled
- 1 container of mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In your crock pot, mix together all of the ingredients excluding the roast.
- Place the roast on top and nestle it between the mushrooms.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours (I recommend for a more tender roast) or on high for 4-6 hours.
